Beyond Technique

What Kids Actually Take Home.

Parents enroll their kids in martial arts for self-defense. That's a good reason. But what they usually report after a few months is something different: their kid stands taller. Makes eye contact. Doesn't back down from challenges the way they used to. Handles conflict differently.

That's not an accident. Krav Maga training for kids is built around two things: competence and confidence. When a child knows they can handle a physical threat — when they've drilled the response enough times that it's automatic — something shifts internally. They carry themselves differently because they know something about themselves that they didn't know before.

What We Actually Teach

Our Kids Program (ages 12–14) focuses on: situational awareness — knowing what's happening around you before it becomes a problem. Verbal boundary-setting — how to say no and mean it. Basic strikes and escape techniques for grabs and holds. Ground defense. And stress inoculation — practicing responses under controlled pressure so the technique is available when it's actually needed.

The Discipline Factor

Structure matters. Our classes have clear expectations — attention, respect, effort. Kids thrive in structured environments. The discipline from the mat shows up at home, in school, on sports teams. Parents notice it consistently.

Kids classes (ages 12–14) are Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 PM at our Bonaire, GA studio. Start with a free 7-day trial. Bring your kid and see for yourself.
